I had the worst stay ever at this hotel. Despite booking a twin room, the beds were stuck together, and everything in the room was extremely low down. The tired-looking rooms were definitely not worth the £350 a night we paid, even compared to budget hostels.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, although clean and comfortable, would have been better with soundproofing. It was a decent size and newly decorated, but being a lower ground level room without windows or mobile phone reception was not disclosed during the booking.

The hotel offers well-furnished rooms, and I would consider booking the honeymoon suite in the future if the price is right. The below-ground-level location provides a unique experience, and the upgrade and full English breakfast were a nice touch.
